Warded to Sturgis, Caoimhe, Edgar, Doc, & Charity:
We've been working on the Gaunt family history. I thought it would be a dead end, to be honest, but after getting a memory from Bob Ogden yesterday, we believe we've located what could possibly be another horcrux. Slytherin's ring was in the family vault at some point, and after confirming the Gaunt's possession of it, Dumbledore has asked us to go to the Gaunt house near Little Hangleton for reconnaissance.
We'll be going just after sundown - to make it harder for anyone to see us - should there be some sort of guard around the place. Could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. We can be back on werewolf patrol then.

All these quotes on love. The poetry too. I've got to ask: is that really what women want?
Warded to Caradoc Dearborn & Charity Burbage:
Appointment with Bob Ogden Friday at noon. I couldn't work out the vault story and have him come in on a weekend.
Will either of you be able to make it? I know it's last minute, and it's on a work day, but so far it's the best lead we've got.

Warded to Caradoc Dearborn (& Charity Burbage added):
I've started pulling together some of the pieces of You Know Who's past. Namely, his wizarding heritage starting with the Gaunts. The Gaunt vault at Gringott's has, of course, been empty for years. Even when it wasn't, there had been any gold for quite some time. All trinkets and heirlooms. Goblins are, unsurprisingly, stingy when it comes to letting anyone near files of what vaults contained, but I filed some paperwork to get access since I've been handling vacant vaults warding. There were some funny wards in one corner, so it provided a perfect excuse for getting my hands on those documents.
Last known to use the vault:
Marvolo Gaunt: Father, died while in Azkaban Morfin Gaunt: Son, died while in Azkaban Merope Gaunt: Daughter, deceased
The vault's not been used since the 1940s, and Morfin Gaunt was the last person to use it. He removed one single object, but I'm still waiting on some paperwork to figure out more.
Any chance you could take a peek at some files in the Ministry to figure out what they were doing in Azkaban? There's some mention of Muggle-baiting to their reasoning for locking them up. Maybe there's some Obliviation that had to happen, depending on what they did to them.
I'll keep looking into last known residence and work on figuring out what items have been kept in the vault in the last one hundred years.
Warded Private:
Jesus fucking Christ, there is so much shite going on. Barty Crouch Jr's been arrested for killing Seymour Watkins. Caoimhe and Remus were attacked. I have a feeling that the shit is really about to start hitting the fan.

Happy holidays to you all.
Doug, tell Lizzie that I promise to get her a pony (don't worry; it'll be a rocking horse) for her birthday. Had I know that she was so interested, I would have run right out and gotten one.
Warded Private:
Need this holiday as much as I wanted to give it to Greta. I've been working non-stop for five years now - for Gringott's, for the Order. I'm not complaining about that. I like what I do, and I wish I could do more for the Order, but everyone is entitled to a break every once in a while.
Nothing in the Black Forest, which is really on par.

Warded to Greta Catchlove:
Sorry about such short notice
Caoimhe Sullivan is a mate of mine, and considering the state of werewolf killers in this country, I think it's best I put some stronger - read: nigh impossible to break - wards on her flat. I'm going over at 3:30 to set it up, but I'll be home before sunset, no problem at all.

London never snows. Time to hit the border.
Warded to Nick Harrow, Minerva McGonagall, & Abe Dumbledore:
I don't remember if we've plotted any of this out. The Black Forest is in Baden-Württemberg. We've got a lot of ground to cover (12,000 square km) so we might have to make this trek when Prof Ms McGonagall can take off from Hogwarts for quite some time. I would suggest starting with the Triberg Waterfalls or Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, considering the extensive history of time and clocks there. I heard a few rumours of strange clocks there, but none of it had been proven, and without any rumours of treasures, the goblins have never made it a priority.
What do you think? I will, of course, defer to wiser companions, given my age.
Warded to Sturgis Podmore, Fabian Prewett, Marlene McKinnon
In case you were wondering, I'm calling dibs on Excalibur if we find it.

Avalon? When? Where?
Warded to Greta Catchlove:
Had a good time this weekend.

Warded Private:
You know, I never knew that Caoimhe had it in her, but that girl's got more guts than anyone gives her credit for. I have a feeling this is going to blow up in her fa cause a stir with our slightly less than wholly wizarding contingent. Should offer to see about the wards on her flat.
Warded to Caoimhe:
Saw the Prophet this morning. Might be a good idea to double-check those wards on your house. Maybe stretch the alarm charms a wee bit more to include harmless vandalism. Volunteering myself if you need the help.

I did not want to give my "niece" back this morning.
Sarah. Douglas. She was a complete angel.
No, that's not sarcasm. I swear.
