Warded to Greta Catchlove:
Sorry about such short notice
Caoimhe Sullivan is a mate of mine, and considering the state of werewolf killers in this country, I think it's best I put some stronger - read: nigh impossible to break - wards on her flat. I'm going over at 3:30 to set it up, but I'll be home before sunset, no problem at all.

London never snows. Time to hit the border.
Warded to Nick Harrow, Minerva McGonagall, & Abe Dumbledore:
I don't remember if we've plotted any of this out. The Black Forest is in Baden-Württemberg. We've got a lot of ground to cover (12,000 square km) so we might have to make this trek when Prof Ms McGonagall can take off from Hogwarts for quite some time. I would suggest starting with the Triberg Waterfalls or Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, considering the extensive history of time and clocks there. I heard a few rumours of strange clocks there, but none of it had been proven, and without any rumours of treasures, the goblins have never made it a priority.
What do you think? I will, of course, defer to wiser companions, given my age.
Warded to Sturgis Podmore, Fabian Prewett, Marlene McKinnon
In case you were wondering, I'm calling dibs on Excalibur if we find it.

Avalon? When? Where?
Warded to Greta Catchlove:
Had a good time this weekend.

Warded Private:
You know, I never knew that Caoimhe had it in her, but that girl's got more guts than anyone gives her credit for. I have a feeling this is going to blow up in her fa cause a stir with our slightly less than wholly wizarding contingent. Should offer to see about the wards on her flat.
Warded to Caoimhe:
Saw the Prophet this morning. Might be a good idea to double-check those wards on your house. Maybe stretch the alarm charms a wee bit more to include harmless vandalism. Volunteering myself if you need the help.

I did not want to give my "niece" back this morning.
Sarah. Douglas. She was a complete angel.
No, that's not sarcasm. I swear.

Warded Private:
Played the jealousy card this evening while being in the presence of one known Death Eater and two suspected Death Eaters. At some point, Regulus Black disappeared, but I couldn't really follow him without drawing attention to myself. I'm going to go back tomorrow and check the wards on Greta's. Can't quite bring myself to break up whatever is going on over there with the amorous couples, and Greta's warm in my bed.
Invitation to the Catchlove's on Monday, and since it came from Doreen, I think it's much more of a "You'd better be there" sort of invite, rather than a "It'd be lovely to see you again." No worries, even if it had come through Greta, I'd have been there.
I have really got to think about how to handle this. My emotions are completely tied up in this, and I know that my judgement in clouded. I want her to be safe, but how can she be when I'm sitting there, watching her being friendly with at least one murderer?

That section of the library had some of my favourite pieces by Byzantine tomb builders.
R.I.P. Kallinikos collection, you'll be well missed.
Warded to Order of the Phoenix:
Trying to be appropriately flippant is exhausting.
I'll let you know when I've got some headway with the Occucultum Charms.
Warded to Doc Dearborn:
Been thinking about that girl who was clearly interested in you last night.
Why not?
It doesn't have to be a one-night stand, and it doesn't have to be anything serious. Just something to take your mind off of Charity other things.

Warded to the Order:
Remus and I went back to the catacombs a couple days after we found the helm. There was a box that must have been buried in the walls of the catacombs and when they came tumbling down, it got dislodged. Took a few days for Remus to get the Latin -- the parchment was seriously faded and torn in a few places -- but he finally managed it, and you'll never believe what it said.
The shield is with the Gryffindor's Army, that row of armour that's currently at the library's exhibit. The shield should be with one of them, and since Death Eaters appear to be looking for the same things we are, given by their interest in the founders, I recommend putting a guard on it until I get back. I wouldn't recommend trying to grab any of the shields just yet; no telling what curses are on it.
We'll be back in England tomorrow night. I can take a look at any of the curses and wards, but if it's anything like the helm's curses, I'm gonna need back-up to fight. I get the impression that a bunch of suits of enchanted armour aren't going to lie still when I take one of the shields.

I like puzzles. They're a hell of a lot easier to figure out than people.
Warded Private:
Except when those people are skeletons trying to cut me open to see my inner beauty. Those are fairly easy, too. Just a few spells here, a counter-curse there, some muttered Gaulish -- even if I didn't know what the hell I was saying -- and voilà. Presto! A ring. It was in a small boxes off the main catacomb, not even a catacomb but a funny little box tucked in the dirt. Didn't even notice it until Remus and I went back yesterday. The catacomb walls falling in must have dislodged it.
It might be grave-robbing, but what else is it going to do down here? Sit in a little box until some Muggle comes along and stumbles over it?
Anyway, haven't figured out what it's enchanted to do yet, but I know there's something. Detection spells definitely caught it. Can't wait to figure it out.
Warded to Greta Catchlove:
Still in France. Still missing you. I should be back on Sunday, depending on how this goes. Tell me the news around Hogsmeade?
Warded to Caradoc Dearborn, Douglas Cornfoot:
When I'm back from my trip, I think we need a pub night.

Catacombs in Milos proving time-consuming, but valuable. I can hardly complain, except they weren't terribly imaginative when it came to their protective curses. It's the same ones over and over again.
